Our Restoration Method

This is not your typical rubber mat cleaning as our service takes things a step further unlike most services that simply clean and dress your mats with the same 1-3 month UV protectant that’s used for the rest of your vehicle. (Coating would most likely last about 1 month due to high foot traffic over mat.)

Step One- A strong, specially designed rubber mat cleaner and rejuvenator is used to deeply clean and restore the original vibrancy of your rubber mats.

Step Two- A much stronger sealant is applied that lasts 4-6 months that locks in:

1. A new, refreshed grip and foot feel for your mats that doesn’t feel tacky.

2. Very strong UV protection with additional hydrophobic and anti-static properties which prevents liquids from staining and inhibits debris buildup.

3. An even further deepened color clarity of your now already amazing looking mats.

Step-by-Step Process:

1. Rubber Mats Thoroughly Washed Before Air Drying

Using a specifically formulated rubber mat cleaner and rejuvenator, you mats have every inch deep cleaned before having your mats thoroughly rinsed again to ensure no chemical residue is leftover.

2. Alcohol Based Prep Spray

This step ensures a completely clean surface to allow for better absorption and adherence of rubber mat sealant

3. Rubber Mat Restorer Sealant is Applied

This sealant is hand applied to ensure every inch is covered and depending on level of restoration needed for mats, a second coating may need to be applied after the first one dries.

4. Final Inspection & Cure Guidance

The sealant will initially cure where it will not be runny by end of detailing service typically and be safe to put back into your vehicle.

Despite initially appearing dry, your mats after restoration may still be tacky and potentially smear if rubbed aggressively within the first 24 hours of application so we advise keeping the mats outside of the vehicle for the first 24 hours.
